BlockchainKC 2019 was led by a fantastic team of blockchain community leaders and experts, beginning with our founding board. Bringing a Blockchain Conference to KC was always a vision and a dream of Dr. Saroj Gupta and Shekhar Gupta. They met Dale Werts and Tedrick Housh at a blockchain event and the chemistry was just right. Together they created the BlockchainKC 501(c) Organization with a sole purpose to bring annual blockchain conference to KC. The first conference was held in April 2019 and exceeded all expectations with big thanks to our volunteer team, everyone in attendance, and our sponsors.
