Mike is a leading GovTech Strategy Advisor focused on emerging technologies, industry interoperability, strategy execution and business growth and expansion. Mike is currently Chief Client Officer (CCO) for GovTech leader, PayIt, LLC, where he helps drive product strategy, client engagement, business expansion and industry evangelism. Prior to joining PayIt in 2018 Mike served as the first state-wide CTO for the State of Illinois. There he was responsible for Digital Transformation, Innovation and Technology Strategy Execution for the State. Mike is a founding member of the Illinois Blockchain Initiative (IBI) and thought leader in the digital identity, high volume secure transaction and cybersecurity space.
Prior to the CTO role for the State of Illinois, Mike served for six years as the President and CEO of Healthcare Technology leader, CellTrak Technologies, Inc. where he led the scaling and build out of the company into a global leader in the Healthcare industry. CellTrak provides a complete, integrated software-as-a-service solution that supports over one million validated healthcare visits per week, facilitating care delivery and real-time field force management, automating data collection, and providing information for business and care optimization.
Mike has a diploma in Management from Aurora University, a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Governors State University and completed his Executive Masters Business Education as a graduate of the Kellogg Management Institute (KMI) at Northwestern University’s Graduate School of Management.
